Hiking to Jamacho Gumba

Jamacho Gumba is located at the peak of the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park 2100 meters from sea level. It passes through the vastness of the forests, which are guarded by the Nepalese army. You can observe the Kathmandu valley and the Himalayan ranges, particularly the Langtang and Everest Himalayas, from the summit. Your interest is piqued by the sight of the Kathmandu Valley. Before entering the forest, you have to get yourself a ticket and then the army will inspect your baggage for prohibited items including blades, speakers, lighters, and other items. In order to ensure your safety, you must present an ID card (citizenship or license) before entering the National park. It’s a National Park Area, so you should be careful not to litter the place. As this Conservational area is famous for various flora and fauna. Only the melodic chirping of the birds can be heard during this hike. There are concrete steps created for hiking which is well maintained by the army. It takes roughly 2.5 hours to reach the top, or more, depending on your walking pace.
