Narayangadh-Muglin Highway will remain closed for further 15 Days

Inconvenience and frustration continue for commuters traveling on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, as the road will remain closed to vehicles in the afternoon for an additional 15 days. The reason for the extended closure is due to the necessary extension work for the bridges.

Initially, the section of the road was supposed to be closed to traffic from 11 am to 3 pm for 30 days prior to last December 20. However, month later, the road was shut down from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for an additional 30 days due to the complex nature of the work. Now, the District Administration Office Chitwan has decided to limit the path for a further 15 days since the task of chopping down a hill was not yet complete.

The closure of the Narayangadh-Muglin road section has caused inconvenience to travelers and negatively affected the local economy as well. Many travelers have been forced to use alternative routes, which are often longer and costlier. The closure has also caused delays in the delivery of goods and services, affecting the local businesses.

The Narayangadh-Muglin road section is a major transportation route that connects the capital city to the southern part of Nepal. The ongoing construction work for the erection of bridges is crucial to ensure the safety and convenience of the travelers. However, the extended closure of the road section has caused inconvenience and frustration to the public. Meanwhile, travelers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternative routes during the closure of the Narayangadh-Muglin road section. The extended closure of the Narayangadh-Muglin road section is expected to have an impact on the transportation and logistics industry, and local businesses.

However, finishing the bridge expansion construction would ensure the safety and ease of travelers in the long-term.
