๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐, one of the major airlines operating out of ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐บ ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ (๐๐๐๐), has resumed its services starting today, March 9, 2023, after temporarily suspending operations due to bad weather conditions. The airport, which opened for business in May last year, has been a popular destination for frequent flights to Kuwait, which are offered by Jazeera Airlines.
According to Subash Jha (the airport’s spokesperson), the airline will operate three days a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8:05 AM. Advance ticket sales have also started for the flights. The resumption of services by Jazeera Airlines is expected to boost the airport’s revenue, which has suffered a significant loss due to the temporary shutdown.
Jazeera Airlines’ resumption of services is a significant development for the airport and the aviation industry in Nepal, and the airport’s revenue is also expected to increase as local flights have been the only source of income during the shutdown. The airport is a critical infrastructure project for Nepal, providing a gateway for international travelers and boosting the country’s tourism industry.
