How to get there
By Air: The nearest airport to Dharan is the Biratnagar Airport, located about 50 kilometers away. From Kathmandu, you can take a domestic flight to Biratnagar and then travel by road or hire a taxi to reach Dharan.
By Road: From Kathmandu, you can take a bus, by private vehicle, or hire a taxi to travel to Dharan. The journey takes approximately 8-10 hours. There are also regular bus services from other major cities, such as Pokhara and Biratnagar, to Dharan.
By Train: You can take a train to the nearest railway station in Jogbani, India, which is about 25 kilometers from the Nepal-India border. From there, you can proceed to Dharan by road.
