How to reach there

  • By Road: The most common way to get to Syabrubesi is by road. You can take a public bus or hire a private jeep from Kathmandu. The journey usually takes around 7-8 hours, and the road passes through scenic landscapes and local villages.
  • By Helicopter: For a faster and more comfortable option, you can book a helicopter charter from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. This is a convenient choice for those with limited time or who prefer to avoid the lengthy road journey.

Trek to Langtang Valley: Once you reach Syabrubesi, the actual trekking adventure begins. From here, you will follow the Langtang River and trek through picturesque villages like Lama Hotel, Langtang Village, and Kyanjin Gompa. The trek usually takes 7-9 days, depending on your pace and itinerary.

Important Tips:

  • Before starting the trek, obtain the necessary permits, such as the Langtang National Park Entry Permit and the TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card. These permits are available in Kathmandu or through registered trekking agencies.
