Luxury Meets Adventure: Everest Region Welcomes Five New Upscale Hotels

Angchiring Sherpa, the President of Asian Treks, has unveiled an ambitious plan to construct five additional luxury hotels in the famed Everest region. This strategic move is driven by the desire to provide a haven of opulence for the increasing number of adventure enthusiasts drawn to this iconic destination.

Sherpa’s vision extends beyond mere expansion, as he currently oversees five hotels in the Khumbu region, each with a reputation as a premier accommodation option. Recognizing the need for continuous improvement, Sherpa has initiated the upgrading of these existing hotels, originally built and managed over three decades ago.

Furthermore, his commitment to enhancing the traveler’s experience led to the construction of hotels in Tengboche and Phakding over the past few years, strategically positioned to cater to tourists embarking on their Khumbu region adventures.

The progress is unmistakable, with construction well underway at both sites, each set to unveil its luxury offerings within a year. These new establishments will boast 28 rooms each, promising an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Himalayas.

The hotels owned by Sherpa, which used to be called ‘Himalayan Eco Chain Hotel,’ now have a new name: ‘Himalaya Eco Hotel.’ The preparations are finished, and once the required banking processes are done, construction will start.

This great news means that people visiting the adventurous Everest area will soon have even more comfortable and luxurious places to stay. Five new fancy accommodations are getting ready to welcome travelers and adventure lovers in the Khumbu region.
