“Changing Weather Patterns in Nepal: Fog Blankets Terai, Snowfall Expected in Hilly Regions”

The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) forecasts a shift in Nepal’s weather dynamics. While the Terai districts are draped in morning fog, the MFD anticipates potential snowfall in the hilly areas across three provinces today.

Currently, Nepal experiences a partial influence of western winds, signaling possible weather alterations in the hilly regions. Most parts of the country remain clear, except for the fog-covered Terai districts.

This afternoon, the MFD expects clear skies in the hilly areas, with a likelihood of light snowfall in select spots within the high hilly and mountainous terrains of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, the country will generally experience clear weather, but the hilly regions may observe some changes. The MFD advises precautions due to possible light snowfall in specific areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, coupled with a steady decrease in temperatures nationwide.
