January 22 is the day of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya’s dedication ceremony. Hotel bookings in nearby areas of the temple have increased in the excitement of this event. The cost of food, rent, and hotel rooms has increased significantly in response to the growing demand. The cost of hotel rooms is increasing rapidly.
Two weeks before the inauguration of the Ram Temple, hotel bookings have increased by 80 percent. The daily rate for hotel rooms has multiplied fivefold. Certain luxurious hotel rooms can cost as much as 100,000 rupees. Hotel reservations are still trending upward despite the high prices. Three to five lakh people are expected to be in Ayodhya on the day of the Ram Temple ceremony.
All available hotels in Ayodhya are already reserved. Representatives from fifty different countries are expected to attend the January 22 ceremony. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited about 3000 VIPs, 7,000 VVIPs from various Gulf Countries especially.
