President Poudel encouraged  hotels to adopt the “Farm to Plate” idea.

The idea of “Farm to Plate” should be advanced, according to President Ramchandra Paudel, by delivering grains and organic foods—which are produced in the agricultural sector and on which a significant portion of the population depends—directly to five-star hotels. On Tuesday, the Hotel Association of Nepal celebrated its foundation day by organizing a program called ‘First Hospitality Day 2024,’ in which President Paudel stated that it is essential to showcase Nepal’s authentic cuisine and culture to the global community.

President Paudel expressed his happiness that Nepal’s hotel industry has been able to preserve the original meaning of “Atithi Devo Bhava” and uphold the country’s dignity in the eyes of the international community. He stated, “I expect hoteliers to pay special attention to this because service, hospitality, and hospitality are a vital component of the country’s identity and can lead to national prosperity.”

According to President Paudel, prosperity will be attained quickly if more foreign visitors are drawn to the nation, where a recently constructed regional international airport is now fully operational. He stated that if basic facilities are provided, the impact will be enhanced.
