May,17-Kathmandu, Nepal: Shreeya Giri, a mental health advocate from Kathmandu who is promoting mental health in many ways, was recently recognized for her unwavering efforts to raise awareness of mental health issues by being included on Forbes’30 under30 Asia, 2024.
Shreya is the founder of the Nepalese digital mental health platform, also known as Happy Minds. Happy Mind offers people online, and in-person counseling, as well as workshops. Happy Minds also has employment assistance programs. For that, they have partnered with organizations such as; Unilever Nepal, Leapfrog, and British College, offering free psychological counselling to the employees.
Happy Minds was also recognized as the best newcomer from Nepal at the SAARC 2022 Startup Awards.
This accomplishment highlights the value of mental health advocacy in fostering a more accepting and helpful atmosphere for people dealing with mental health concerns. It is a well-deserved accomplishment for Shreeya Giri to be included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list, since it demonstrates her dedication to improving mental health.
