CAAN decided to stop Guna Airlines’ flights

CAAN has decided to stop the operations of Guna Airlines as it was unable to pay its employees. Due to the financial crisis of airlines, CAAN Spokesperson Jagannath Niraula has said that it would directly affect employee psychology, as they are not paid, and it would directly hamper flight safety.

CAAN revealed that the company had been unable to deliver good facilities on time and as a result, the decision was made to cancel it’s flights and determined that there was a risk of impact on air safety due to the potential lack of proper service facilities and the possibility of staff not performing properly as they are not paid.

It is unclear how long the airline will remain grounded, and whether it will be able to recover from it’s financial troubles.

Air transport plays a vital role in inter-regional movements of tourists as they are used to travel large distances fast and safely. Millions of people are able to travel longer distance at shorter time and that is all possible due to air travel, which also helps the tourism sector, a main source of the economies for countries like Nepal and other various nations that attract tourists.
