๐๐๐๐ก has ๐ด๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ all flights of ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ until security inspections are carried out on the engines. The move comes after a recent incident where a Shree Airlines flight heading to Bhairahawa showed signs of engine fire before landing safely at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
According to Jagannath Niraula (Spokesperson of CAAN), the flights will only be continued after the engines have been thoroughly inspected and verified as safe by CAAN’s specialists. Until then, no Shree Airlines aircraft will be granted permission to fly.
Anil Manandhar (Manager of Shree Airlines), has expressed concern over the delayed notification from CAAN, which has resulted in cancellations of three out of 14 flights scheduled for Friday. He further added that the passengers had been affected by the decision.
The safety and security of passengers are the prime concern in the aviation industry, and the decision by CAAN to ground the flights of Shree Airlines reflects their commitment to ensuring the safety of all passengers. Shree Airlines will need to cooperate fully with the inspections to resume operations at the earliest possible time and restore confidence in their services.
