Paragliding in Sarangkot

Sarangkot is considered one of the top paragliding destinations in the world, providing a thrilling experience. A 30 to 45-minute flight from Sarangkot provides an exhilarating experience that one will cherish forever. For those who are new to paragliding, the pilot will explain and teach how to control the glider, making it an easy and enjoyable experience. The best time for paragliding in Nepal is from October to April.
The flight allows observing the glory of the Annapurna range and the beautiful landscape around Pokhara valley, Mt. Fishtail, Lamjung Himal, Fewa Lake, rice fields, rivers, and settlements.

How to get there

To reach Sarangkot from Pokhara, it takes approximately 40-45 minutes by car or taxi. The roads are generally in good condition, with less traffic during the early mornings. The observation deck is approximately 50 meters up from the summit parking lot. You need to climb the stairs for getting there which takes around 5-10 minutes to walk. The village lies at an elevation of 1600 meters above sea level and you can also trek for 1-1.5 hours to get there.
