
Buddha Air, a well-known airline in Nepal, is marking its 27th year since it started. From a small plane with 18 seats, it has now grown to 16 planes, including ATR 42-320 and ATR 72-500. And there’s even a new plane joining in October!
The head of Buddha Air, Birendra Bahadur Basnet, highlighted the company’s dedication to training its technical, pilot, and ground teams to meet national and international aviation standards. They regularly undergo checks by aviation organizations to ensure safe and smooth flights.
Buddha Air boasts a top-notch hangar, one of the best in South Asia, providing services to many national and international airlines.
With over 25 years of service, Buddha Air has helped more than 20 million passengers, both from Nepal and around the world. They currently operate 17 flights to Pokhara from Kathmandu, 9 to Biratnagar, and 10 to Bhairahawa, with plans for more flights to new destinations like Surkhet, Tumlingtar, and Dhangadhi. This shows Buddha Air’s dedication to growing and serving even better!
