
In the upcoming National Assembly elections in Magh (January-February), there will be 2,447 voters. The Election Commission approved the voter list, shared by Shaligram Sharma Paudel, a spokesperson from the commission.
Different people like Provincial Assembly members, village council leaders, city mayors, and others will vote. They made sure to remove the names of those who passed away from the voter list.
There are 550 Provincial Assembly members, and after removing one deceased member, there are now 549 eligible voters. Additionally, there are 1,506 village council leaders, city mayors, and others, with the voter list now at 1,498 after some were suspended or removed.
The election for National Assembly members will happen on February 11. The voting power for different leaders varies between 53 for Provincial Assembly members and 18 for village council leaders, city mayors, and others. Overall, there are 57,559 voting powers in total.
