
The Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association (NMIA) organized the 15th High Mountain Rescue Training (HMRT) from February 2nd to 20th, 2024. The theory part took place in Kathmandu, and now the practical training is set to happen in Langtang, Nepal.
Pasang Tendi Sherpa is leading the education team, assisted by four course facilitators: Lambabu Sherpa, Lhakpa Rangdu Sherpa, Aashish Gurung, and Bikram Karki.
The Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) is supporting this training, which has 15 participants. They are learning important rescue skills in the mountains.
