Thamel and Durbarmarg regions will remain open around-the-clock, according to a plan developed by the Nepal Police. During a conference concerning lowering drug misuse and cybercrimes, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri discussed this. He mentioned that the police are studying areas where crimes might happen and are getting ready to manage more officers to make Thamel and Durbarmarg safer and busier. He also talked about the increase in drug abuse and cyber crimes, with many cases reported to the police.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward No 4 Chair, Dinesh Maharjan promised to fix all damaged roads in his area and urged everyone to be careful about drug abuse and cyber crimes. Various speakers emphasized the importance of protecting students from these issues during the meeting.
