From today, July 15, the Manakamana cable car will be closed for the following fifty days.
In order to update to a digital system, the cable car will be closed, according to the owner of the company , Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd. The advanced digital system will replace the analog technology currently used to control the cable car, according to Ujjwal Sherchan, Deputy General Manager of Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd. It will be upgraded to a digital system and have its primary metal cable replaced.
Since its creation in 2055 BS, the cable car has provided worshippers travelling to the historic Manakamana temple in the Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality of Gorkha.
According to Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd, the restaurant at the cable car’s bottom station, which is in Ichchakamana-4 Kurintar in Chitwan, would continue to operate even after the cable car service is closed .
The Mana Cable car is being changed after 26 years, which is great. Now, it will be more amazing to travel in a cable car with the new digital system and new metal cable.
