Nepal’s women’s volleyball team made history by defeating India 3-2 in the CAVA (Central Asian Volleyball Association) Women’s Volleyball National League at the National Sports Council Cover Hall in Kathmandu, Nepal.
It can be marked as the first-ever victory over India in the Women’s volleyball battle.

India rallied by winning the following sets, 25-12. However, Nepal’s players showed tremendous tenacity, coming back to win the third set 25-17.
Nepal lost the deciding fourth set 18-25 but won the fifth set with their momentum and the home crowd’s encouragement with the scores of 15-13. This victory demonstrates the team’s remarkable coordination, planning, and resolve to triumph over a strong opponent.
