
Domestic flight operations have resumed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and other Nepal airports. The flights resumed seeing the improvement in weather conditions.
The TIA’s General Manager, Jagannath Niraula, stated that flights operating under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) system will be permitted till 10:00 p.m. tonight. This follows the cancelation of nearly 400 flights on Friday and Saturday due to extreme weather conditions.
Tribhuvan International Airport normally handles 150-160 planes per day. Most airports have resumed operations, while some still remains closed for the time being.
