Nepal bagged a most-needed victory in the T-20 tri-series over Oman. The game took at Maple-Leaf Northwest Ground Canada on 29th September. Nepal showed a stong all round performance on the game. Gulshan jha was the man of the match.
Nepal set a target of 176 runs with 6 wickets gone. Meanwhile, the team bowled out Oman for 139 runs. Nepal won the game by 37 runs.

Nepal’s Strong Batting Performance
Nepal lost the toss and Oman chose to bowl. Openers Anil Shah and Ashif sheikh laid a strong foundation with a 39 run partnership. Anil scored 27 off 21 while Ashif scored 27 off 22.
Nepal’s middle order struggled a bit. Dev Khanal got out with 2 runs.
However, Kushal Mall and Asif Sheikh made the innings go steady. Kushal Malla got catch-out after scoring 30 runs in 26 balls.
A brilliant partnership between Kushal Bhurtel and Gulshan Jha revived the innings. Bhurtel scored 20 runs off 17 balls while Gulshan scored 40 runs out of 17 balls.
Gulshan Jha knocked 3 sixes and 3 Fours to give Nepal a competitive total score.
Dipendra Singh Airee also scored 18 runs off 5 balls to further boost the score of Nepal.
Meanwhile, Oman had a bad start to their batting. Opener Kashyap Prajapati was gone for duck out on the very first ball by Karan KC. Captain Aqib Ilyas also got out soon after just scoring 2 runs. By the end of the second over, Oman’s score was at 9-2. Sohaib Khan offered some relief scoring 45 runs off 39 balls but couldn’t hold up the pressure. Rafiullah briefly ignited the hope by scoring 33 off 12 balls. But his wicket ended any hope of comeback. Despite a late effort from Fayyaz Butt, who remained unbeaten with 17 off 6 balls, Oman was bowled out for 139 in 19.1 overs.
Nepal’s Karan KC led the bowling attack with 3-36, while Jha completed his all-round display with 2-14.
