The All-Nepal Football Association (ANFA) confirmed that all preparations for the next SAFF Women’s Football Championship 2024 are completed. The tournament will take place at Kathmandu’s Dasarath Stadium from October 17 to October 30.
In a news conference, ANFA Spokesperson Suresh Shah revealed the teams that will compete in the SAFF Women’s Football Championship c2024. The teams are Nepal, India, the Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. Teams from Pakistan, the Maldives, and Bangladesh have already arrived in Nepal, with India and Bhutan set to arrive tomorrow.
Training facilities have been set up at several places, including the ANFA Complex, Bhadrakali, Lagankhel, and St. Xavier’s Sports Ground. Ticketing rights have been granted to Mount Everest Sports and Events. Tickets for group stage matches cost Rs 300 for regular admission and Rs 500 for VIP access. Tickets to knockout matches will cost Rs 500 for public seats and Rs 1,000 for VIP access. Children aged ten and under can attend for free.
