Pokhara’s New Paragliding System Significantly Lowers Flight Costs

A new system for managing paragliding flights in Pokhara made it simpler, and as a result, the cost of flying was reduced a lot. However, there was a disagreement between the Paragliding Entrepreneur’s Association Nepal (PEAN) and the pilots, which caused a big drop in the cost of flights, from 12,000 to 3,000 Nepali Rupees.

Because of this argument, the authorities responsible for air travel safety in Nepal called the Civil Aviation Authority, first stopped all the flights for safety reasons. Later on, they allowed the flights to start again once they looked into the issue and made sure everything was safe.
