How to get there
By Flight: There are regular daily flights from Pokhara Airport to Jomsom Airport, which is also known as the Jomsom STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) airport. The flight duration is approximately 20-25 minutes. Flight schedules can be affected by weather conditions, so it’s advisable to check for updates and book in advance.
By Road: If you prefer a road journey, you can travel from Pokhara to Jomsom by bus or jeep. The road distance between Pokhara and Jomsom is around 170 kilometers, but due to the mountainous terrain and rough road conditions, the journey can take anywhere from 8 to 10 hours or more.
Trekking: Jomsom is also accessible by trekking from various starting points. The most popular trekking route is the Annapurna Circuit trek, which starts from Besisahar and follows the Marsyangdi River valley.
