
Famous climber Kami Rita Sherpa achieved another big success by reaching the top of Mt. Manaslu. This happened at 8:10 AM today, marking a remarkable moment in his climbing career.
Chhang Dawa Sherpa, connected with Seven Summit Treks, shared that Kami Rita’s successful climb of Mt. Manaslu now makes him the person with the most successful climbs above 8000 meters. This is in addition to his incredible record of 28 summits of the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, which set a world record.
Kami Rita Sherpa, from the beautiful Thame village in Solukhumbu, Nepal, has dedicated his life to the thrilling world of mountaineering. Born on January 2, 1970, he’s been passionate about climbing from a young age, spanning over twenty years of scaling mountains.
Kami Rita’s mountaineering journey began in 1992 when he joined an Everest expedition in a supporting role. Since then, his strong determination has led him on numerous expeditions, conquering Everest multiple times. His achievements go beyond Everest, as he has fearlessly tackled other challenging peaks like K2, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and now, Mt. Manaslu.
