World’s Longest Cable Car Coming to Nepal: Is This the Future of Transportation?

K&R Rail Engineering, a big company from Hyderabad, India, has signed an agreement to build the longest cable car system in Nepal. This project, valued at $500 million and done with Muktinath Darshan Private Limited, will link the holy Muktinath Temple.

Mr. Kalra, the head of K&R Rail Engineering, is thrilled that they got all the needed approvals from the Nepalese government. Their plan is to build an 84.32-kilometer-long cable car line, which will be the longest in the world.

This cable car project will have 20 stops, making it easier for people, especially pilgrims and tourists, to reach the Muktinath Temple, which is located at 3,700 meters. Once it’s finished, it will be a convenient and beautiful way to travel, saving people from difficult treks.
