
Dhanusha’s Janakpurdham is abuzz with the commencement of a three-day International Ayurveda Conference. The event was inaugurated at the Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Culture Centre by Swami Ananda Aruna, who emphasized the vital role of Ayurvedic treatment in addressing pressing global health issues. He urged the state to prioritize and promote Ayurveda as a solution.
Highlighting Nepal’s rich heritage in not only Vedic religion and tradition but also as a promising domain for Ayurveda, Swami Ananda Aruna spoke of the immense potential for benefiting both Nepal and humanity through the utilization of Nepal’s traditional treatments and valuable herbal resources.
The message of well wishes from Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ was also conveyed during the event, underscoring the importance of this conference.
With 600 participants hailing from 17 countries worldwide, this conference is set to delve into the significance of Ayurveda in modern medical science. It will also explore the latest research and investigations in the field of Ayurveda science. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, the coordinator of the conference coordination committee, shared these insights.
This event not only celebrates Ayurveda’s ancient wisdom but also paves the way for its integration into contemporary global healthcare, promoting overall well-being.
