The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) anticipates a noticeable shift in the country’s hilly regions starting Saturday, with predominantly clear weather anticipated elsewhere.
As per the latest three-day forecast released today, the MFD indicates no rainfall or snowfall expected today and tomorrow, a notable deviation from the wintry weather seen thus far.
Saturday may witness light snowfall in select high-altitude spots in the hills and Himalayas, while the overall weather across the hilly regions is predicted to remain clear during afternoons and nights today and tomorrow.
Looking ahead, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces may experience partly cloudy skies on Saturday, contrasting with mostly clear conditions in the remaining areas. However, limited snowfall remains a possibility in certain high-altitude locales within the Karnali province.
The MFD underscores that Nepal continues to be under the general influence of western winds, shaping the current weather patterns.
