The flights between Nepal and Lhasa are once again started today from Kathmandu, Himalayan Airlines now operates regular flights to Lhasa.
Minister Sudhan Kirati opened this flight and said it’s important for Nepal and China. The flight will help more people visit, and Nepal can send things to China more easily.
After Kunming, Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Guangzhou, Lhasa is the sixth place to have these flights. Nepal asked China to start these flights again because they stopped during the COVID-19 problem.
In a meeting in Lhasa on Chaitra 15, Nepal asked China to start these flights again.
