From March 14 to 18, Kathmandu will host the 7th edition of the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF).
NFCA Chairperson KP Pathak announced during a press conference held here today that 88 films from 40 different countries will be screened. The festival is being put on by the Nepal Film and Culture Academy (NFCA).
It was a pleasure to have the films that were previously shown at international film festivals like the Berlin, Locarno, and Cannes film festivals included in the NIFF, according to actor and NFCA advisor Nir Shah.
Bhuwan KC, the chairperson of the Film Development Board, expressed regret that the Board was unable to meet expectations due to a lack of specific policies.
