
Sagarmatha National Park collected a lot more money, over ten percent more! When we compare the first half of this year to the same time last year, the park’s money grew by 10.54 percent.
During the Saun to Push period of the previous fiscal year, the park collected Rs 62.32 million. In the same timeframe this fiscal year, the revenue rose to Rs 69.67 million, shared by Information Officer Manoj Kumar Mandal.
Breaking it down, Mandal mentioned that revenue collection included Rs 656,000 in Saun, Rs 3.395 million in Bhadau, Rs 21.054 million in Asoj, Rs 31.227 million in Kartik, Rs 10.143 million in Mangsir, and Rs 3.21 million in Push.
Mainly sourced from tourism, the revenue totaled Rs 66.67 million, with additional contributions of Rs 4.083 million from forest fodder sales and Rs 2.5 million from penalties.
This year, Sagarmatha had a big crowd with 28,390 visitors. Entry Fee For Nepalese costs Rs 100 , Rs 1,500 for SAARC nations, and Rs 3,000 for others. And Rs 3,000 fee for helicopter landings.
