75th Indian Republic Day celebrated by Indian Embassy in Kathmandu

In Kathmandu, the Indian Embassy celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day by giving books worth Rs1.9 million to 30 institutions.

Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava presented the books during a special ceremony. Additionally, the ambassador honored widows and family members of deceased soldiers by disbursing Rs50 million in dues and distributing blankets.

The embassy also highlighted its commitment to supporting retired soldiers by unveiling the ‘Bhu Puu-2024’ magazine, which covers the welfare initiatives of the Indian government for ex-servicemen living in Nepal.
