Nepal has participated in the travel fair Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) Mumbai, 2024.
Before this, the Nepal Tourism Board usually represented Nepal at what is considered to be Asia’s largest travel trade show. The Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) is Nepal’s representative at the event this time.
Twenty-five travel agencies are expected to be at the three-day tourism exhibition, as stated by TAAN General Secretary Binod Sapkota.
As highlighted by Sapkota, Nepal’s goal in joining the OTM is to increase the country’s tourism sector.
Also, TAAN plans to participate in the February 22–24 Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) for South Asia.
