The final preparations for the Anantashree Brahmandi Mahayagya, organized in Sarbasiddhidham Panchakot, are underway. The Mahayagya is scheduled to run from February 21 to March 5.

The event aims to promote Vedic traditions, enhance spiritual consciousness, and develop religious tourism. As part of the 10th annual celebration of Panchakot Dham establishment, this Mahayagya marks the first time such a grand event is being held in Nepal. Alongside the construction of the World Peace Kalash in Panchakot, the Mahayagya aims to complete various religious structures. Due to ongoing work, there is a call for support and attendance from devotees to ensure the success of the event.

The event will see the inauguration by a hundred and eight-year-old girl from Triveni Dham, Muktinath. According to Damodar Shastri Dahal, chairperson of the Sarbasiddhidham Panchakot Development Council, the preparations for the event are at their final stage. He mentioned the setup of accommodations, dining facilities, and other arrangements for the attendees. The event will host several dignitaries on different days, including President Ramchandra Poudel, Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai, former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chief Justice Vishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, and Defense Minister Puran Bahadur Khadka.

The event is expected to attract thousands of devotees and will include discussions on various topics of regional and national importance. Swami Kamalnayanacharya, the initiator of the event and founder of Panchakot Dham, emphasized its significance, calling for the collective support of all. He stated that the Mahayagya aims not only to promote a single religion but also to focus on nature, environment, water resources, and educational systems, aiming to unite all Nepalis and highlight the uniqueness of Panchakot in Gandaki Province. Swami Kamalnayanacharya urged participation from people of all political parties and sectors, expressing hope that the event will contribute to the region’s prosperity through tourism development.
