The Embassy of Nepal in Cairo hosted an event to encourage tourism on February 28. Everest climbers Adriana Brownlee and Gelje Sherpa talked about their mountain adventures. Dr. Jared Harris and Courtney Bailey shared their trekking experiences from Nepal. Nepal’s Ambassador to Egypt, Sushil Kumar Lamsal, talked about Nepal’s culture and nature, inviting tourists to visit. He also thanked Egyptian media for supporting relations between Nepal and Egypt.
Around 70 people attended, including Egyptian vloggers, social media influencers, artists, educators, diplomats, and journalists. They also displayed paintings from a competition where 300 Egyptian students depicted Nepal’s culture, history, and natural beauty.
