Today at 1:00 PM, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will start the Visit Bharatpur-2024 event near the Narayani River. Five former prime ministers, like Khilaraj Regmi, Madhav Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and KP Sharma Oli, are expected to join.
Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal said that big names from the business world, such as former Deputy Prime Minister and House of Representatives member Rabi Lamichhane, will also be there.
Bagmati Province Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel, along with province chiefs Amik Sherchan and Tilak Pariyar, foreign guests, and mayors from different cities in the country, will take part.
Mayor Dahal thinks that more than 50,000 people will come to the Narayani River banks for the opening event.
