Kathmandu Mayor Launches Free Health Services for Disabled and Economically Disadvantaged Patients Nationwide. “ Free health services will be provided for disabled and economically disadvantaged patients from any region of Nepal, please come by taking a referral from the local government” Mayor Balen Shah recently announced today on his social media post. He also added they have about 374 beds in coordination with 52 different hospitals.
KMC took this initiative to improve healthcare accessibility. This project aims to aid those with minimal means and special needs. It will allow access to medical treatment without concern for expenses.
