The Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Hit Bahadur Tamang, emphasized the importance of NAC’s dignity and the airline’s incredible journey, acknowledging the airline’s determination and solid reputation in Nepal.

One of the major companies in Nepal’s aviation sector is Nepal Air Corporation (NAC), founded in 1958. It started with a Douglas DC-3 Dakota but has now grown to include a fleet of modern Airbus A330 and A320 aircraft for international travel.
Connecting Nepal to the World
Currently, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Narita, Doha, Dubai, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia are among the main Asian and Middle Eastern destinations to which NAC offers international flights from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport.
Serving Remote Regions Within Nepal
NAC is dedicated to providing domestic air services to Nepal’s remote regions, guaranteeing accessibility and promoting economic growth through its services to over 22 destinations.

The Minister emphasized the need for a clear strategy for NAC’s 67th anniversary, noting that the organization is well-positioned for the future due to its commitment to service, modern fleet, and global connectivity.
