Chatur Tamang, known as the mountaineer and guide, has reached Europe’s highest peak, Mount Elbrus, which is around 5642 meters, for the 149th time.
He made three successful climbs in the same month last year, on June 14th, 23, and 24. For the 149th time, he climbed Mount Elbrus’ east side with success.
According to the Russian time zone, at 10 am on July 3, Tamang successfully climbed Mount Elbrus from the east side of the mountain and from all angles.
He has many years of experience working as a guide on Russia’s Mount Elbrus. His goal is to climb Mount Elbrus two hundred times. He started climbing Elbrus in 2002. He has so far climbed several mountains, including Baruntse, Iceland Peak, Mera Peak, Choyu, Manaslu, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga, and Everest.
