Thame is a traditional and beautiful village located inn the Everest region of Nepal. It is home of Tenzing Norgay, the first person to conquer Mt. Everest with Hillary, Ang Rita Sherpa, and Appa Sherpa.

It is situated  at an altitude of 3,800 metres above the sea level. Thame is a must visit place for those seeking serenity and adventure.

How to reach Thame village?

You can book a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and reach Namche Bazaar. You can start your trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame village which is around 4-5 hours of walk.

Best time to visit Thame village

The best time to visit Thame village is during spring( March to May) and Autumn (September to November). These times are best for the mountain views as the skies are clearer.
