Lalitpur Metropolis has signed a significant agreement with Korea’s Chungcheongnamdo Chunyang Education Office. The objective of this agreement is to strengthen different sectors like education, sports, and culture. The agreement was signed by Chief Administrative Officer Rekha Das Shrestha and Director Jin Ki Seong. It was done in the presence of Lalitpur’s mayor, Chiribabu Maharjan.
The partnership is expected to open new facilities for students. It exchanges and shares best practices between the two areas. Maharjan expressed his delight, highlighting the growth opportunities and mutual benefits that this relationship will provide for both communities.
Metropolitan Chief Chiribabu Maharjan said that this program has cleared the path for exchanging best practices and the development of new ones in the field of education and sports.
Rekha Das Shrestha has shown how this deal will benefit the education, sports, and cultural sectors in Lalitpur. She emphasized that this collaboration would be helpful to the city’s citizens.
According to Jin Ki Seong, Director of the Chungcheongnamdo Chunyang Education Office, this effort has strengthened Korea’s ties with Nepal. He stated that he was delighted to proceed with a written agreement to collaborate in the two nations’ educational, sporting, and cultural fields. He expressed belief about the potential ahead, as both areas want to strengthen their educational and cultural relations. He also stated that with various programs and promotions, everyone will benefit from it.
