Celebration at lakeside, Pokhara for World Tourism Day

Every year, on September 27, World Tourism Day is held to raise awareness of the significance of tourism worldwide. The day highlights tourism’s potential to unite people, boost economies, and stimulate cultural exchange.

A special mini street festival will be held at Lakeside, Pokhara to mark World Tourism Day. It is the most popular tourist attraction site. The celebration, organized by the Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN), will take place on Friday evening along the beautiful Fewa Lake route between Ambot and Barahichowk.

The event’s theme is “Eat on the Road, Have Fun on the Road,”. It aims to promote Pokhara’s vibrant tourism culture. According to festival planner Birendra Sherchan, the event will feature cultural acts as well as a showcasing of the city’s tourist potential.

REBAN President Bishwaraj Paudel stated that visitors may enjoy a broad range of local and foreign foods, traditional ethnic performances, and exhibitions of major tourist destinations. It is an ideal opportunity for both tourists and residents to rejoice together.

With the event scheduled during the peak tourist season, organizers hope to boost tourism and provide a memorable experience for all.
