Chobhar Annual Adinath Fair Begins, Worship and Stunning Views

The annual Adinath Fair at Chobhar Ridge, held on Ashwin Shukla Poornima, began yesterday. At this event, many devotees gather from the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding areas to pray and enjoy the fair. It will last until Kartik Shukla Poornima.

According to residentals, many people attend the fair in the hopes of improving their health. It is thought that praying to Adinath, an idol symbolizing Lord Shiva along with Parvati, might help avoid skin problems. Both Hindus and Buddhists adore the temple, with Buddhists seeing the god as a sign of strength and protection.

Devotees have already begun singing devotional songs, creating a spiritual mood at the gathering. The temple, located just nine kilometers south of Kathmandu is also a popular tourist spot. It provides tourists with a spectacular viewpoint of the Kathmandu Valley. It makes it an ideal location for the fair. As a show of devotion, many offerings of utensils and ornaments are traditionally offered in temples.
