Nepal’s tour to the United States began with a stunning 17-run victory over the United States at Texas Grand Prairie Stadium.
Nepal starts the match by batting first. They scored 164 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. Captain Rohit Paudel led the way with an amazing 49 runs off 33 balls, including one six and four boundaries. Paudel was only one run away from his eighth T20 international half-century.
In response, the USA failed to gain pace and only achieved 147 runs, falling short of the point. Our bowlers delivered a great effort to hold the USA at a distance, securing a winning start for Nepal.
Dipendra Singh Airee was named player of the match after scoring 28 runs off 17 balls and bowling well. He captured three wickets and conceded only 27 runs.
