According to the Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal is seeing a large number of international tourists arriving. There were 940,732 visits in the first ten months of fiscal year 2024-25. October alone attracted 124,393 international visitors, a 6.4% rise over the same month the previous year. This increase shows a positive recovery in Nepal’s tourist economy following the hardships of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Despite a brief decline in tourists caused by severe rains and floods in late September, Board Director Maniraj Lamichhane remained optimistic. Tourist visits from neighboring India and China dropped, but American tourists grew by roughly 13% in October, totaling 16,023 arrivals.
Nepal also saw significant visitors from the UK, Australia, Germany, and France. March was the busiest month for tourism this year. We had 128,167 visitors, while July had the lowest at 64,599.
This slow rise in tourism shows that Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural heritage continue to attract people from around the world.
