The variety of the women festival will involve approximately 200 women artists, including famous figures like singers Kunti Moktan and Subani Moktan, actress Miruna Magar, and even theater groups like Katha Ghera and Karnali Arts Center.
The British Council’s Country Director, Rustom Mody, states that WOW is not just an event but a platform for celebrating and appreciating women’s voices and achievements while developing critical discourse. KMC Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol reiterated the town’s devotion to gender-focused programs and thanked WOW for bringing light to the narrative of women’s power.
The WOW Festival 2024 is ready to accept participants of any age to appreciate the tales of achievements, creativity, and hard work, but also the challenges faced by women and non-binary people.
