The grand Dharahara Tower in Kathmandu will be opened to the general public on November 24. This iconic 22-story tower will continue hosting visitors with its new features and fees after a small opening in September.

Nepali citizens entering the tower will have to pay an entry fee of Rs 200 for the climb. Children below the age of 10, senior citizens above the age of 70, students, and differently-abled persons get a 50 percent discount. An entry fee of Rs 500 applies to visitors from SAARC countries. Visitors from countries outside SAARC will pay Rs 1,000 as an entry fee. Rs 50 are the entrance charges for the Dharahara area.
Parking charges are Rs 20 for every hour for motor vehicles and Rs 10 for two-wheelers. The photography charge is Rs 1,000 for an hour, while video shoot charges are Rs 5,000 per hour.
Dharahara, managed by a special government committee, is going to be a cultural hub for cultural events, fairs, and fantastic views of Kathmandu. What a wonderful opportunity to visit history!
