This event is organized by NRNA Japan, the Embassy of Nepal in Tokyo, and the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Japan together. This two-day festival aims to showcase Nepal’s vibrant art, culture, and traditions. It also seeks to bring together Nepalis living abroad and promote Nepal as a tourist destination.
This year’s festival focuses on raising funds for the construction of Nepali House, a multicultural center representing Nepal’s identity in Japan. The festival features 40 stalls offering Nepali food, cultural displays, and performances. Different documentaries and photo exhibitions highlight Nepal’s heritage, customs, and scenic destinations.
According to NRNA Japan President Nabin Niure, the program is all about fostering ties within the community and celebrating Nepal’s rich culture. An event that has been happening annually since 2012. This continues strengthening ties among Nepalis in Japan and showcasing Nepal to the rest of the world.
