Chasing the target of 128 runs, Janakpur scored 131 in only 15.3 overs, losing only two wickets. Lahiru Milantha stole the show, scoring an undefeated 75 runs off 53 balls, including nine boundaries and three sixes. Together with Harsh Thaker, who produced a consistent 29 runs, the duo created a match-winning 116-run combination.

Biratnagar’s bowlers Chris Sole and Pratish GC claimed one wicket each. However, their efforts weren’t enough to stop Janakpur’s dominant performance.

Earlier, the Biratnagar Kings struggled with the bat after being first to bat. They were all out for 127 runs in 19 overs. Martin Guptill stood out with a solid 55 runs off 43 balls, but other batters failed to provide much support. Lalit Rajbanshi led Janakpur’s bowling attack, taking three wickets, while Kishore Mahato and Harsh Thaker took up two each.

This win gives the Janakpur Bolts a strong start in the tournament. It sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting NPL season. Their next match is scheduled against Karnali Yaks on December 2.
