The Sudurpashchim Royals won their second straight game in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). They defeated Kathmandu Gurkhas by 73 runs.

The Royals set a target of 168 runs. Kathmandu was bowled out for just 94 runs in 15.5 overs. Naren Saud took five wickets, becoming the first Nepali bowler to do so in the NPL. He had just returned from the U-19 Asia Cup.
Avinash Bohara also bowled well, taking two wickets for just 12 runs. Brandon McMullen and Saif Zaib took one wicket each.
Stephen Eskinazi was the top scorer for Kathmandu with 37 runs. Sumit Maharjan made 14, while Bhim Sharki and Gerhard Erasmus scored 10 runs each.
Earlier, Sudurpashchim batted first and scored 167 runs. McMullen top-scored with 53 runs. Captain Dipendra Singh Airee made 43 runs, and Binod Bhandari added 35 runs.
Rashid Khan took two wickets for Kathmandu. Karan KC, Shahab Alam, and Gerhard Erasmus each took one.
The Royals have now won two games in a row and look strong in the NPL.
